I am from Colombia. Since 2017 I became UN staff, I provide advice and expertise to National Statistical Offices in Latin America and the Caribbean and other institutions of the National Statistical Systems of beneficiary countries on social statistics and national statistical sources to produce them, with special emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals monitoring framework. From 2015 until 2017, I leaded the Assessment Directorate at the Colombian Institute for the Assessment of Education, where I controlled all of the processes related to the development of methodologies for assessing the quality of education in Colombia. I assumed the role of National Project Manager for the following international assessment tests: PISA, ICCS, TALIS and ERCE. From 2012 until 2015, I was elected as the Dean of the Faculty of Statistics at Saint Thomas University. From 2011 until 2015, I was the leading advisor in statistics for DSEPP Deputy Director at National Planning Department in Colombia
